Event Details

In times of rapid change such as those we are living through currently, it often becomes challenging to anchor ourselves or chart a course. Tumultuous currents can prompt us to grasp for anything familiar, clinging to ideas that may have worked in the past but now seem to be falling apart. Meanwhile, we feel the winds of progress blowing around us and whispers from our intuition guide us to let go, trimming our sails to glide towards an auspicious unknown.

The Merkaba Group invites you to embark on a journey together as we free ourselves from the limitations of old realities and illusions that no longer serve us. As society awaits a return to a “normal” state of affairs, something magical is happening in our world. It can be heard through the silence and felt in the stillness of our hearts. For some, the notion that we will never go back to how things were can be too terrifying to contemplate. This program is for those among us who are ready to seize upon the opportunities of these times to transform themselves, secure a competitive advantage, and contribute to a more loving and abundant human experience.

What does it mean to transcend “Normal”?

Transcending normality implies the recognition that infinite possibilities are arising every moment. It connotes that we can harness universal principles consciously to expand reality for ourselves and others. In order to manifest new possibilities from the vast unknown that is unfolding beyond our understanding, we must transcend ourselves. This change in perspective has profound implications for individuals and organizations. Cultivating a culture that brings to light a broader range of possibilities naturally increases adaptability, resilience, and joy in the face of tumultuous uncertainty. This begins within you as a leader.

To guide leaders (that’s you!) through this process of transformation, the Merkaba Group has developed a methodology that merges management science and practical spirituality to support the integration of qualities such as acceptance, curiosity, and humility. This approach is based on over a decade of experience working with senior executives, policymakers, entrepreneurs, scientists, and enlightened professionals across numerous fields and industries.

How is the program structured?

This program will be held as a full-day workshop (see schedule below). The session will include original content, guided meditations, sound healing journeys, interactive discussions, and a cacao ceremony (cacao is included and we will prepare it together). The program will be held through online telepresence and explore three topics:

Topic 1: Recognize that the only constant in the universe is change

Philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus made the famous assertion that all that exists is in a constant state of flux and that resistance to this fundamental truth is “a kind of death in that the individual is refusing to participate in that which defines life.” To access the manifestation potential within ourselves, we must accept what is happening right now and surrender to the ever-changing nature of the universe. Living in modern society, most of us have been conditioned to overuse our willpower to shape reality. This is often driven by the fear that we will lose control if we let go. Normality has reinforced this imbalance on a collective level by creating the illusion that we must preserve the status quo.

Topic 2: Embrace emerging deviations with curiosity and equanimity

What we think are deviations that seem off-base may actually be beneficial adaptations. That is what Charles Darwin suggested in his theory of evolution, where he regarded the principle of divergence as an essential component to natural selection. Divergence implies that living species can inhabit more environments and increase their odds of survival by diversifying themselves. Making the most of deviations hinges on our ability to remain receptive to what emerges without resistance or judgment. In Buddhism, the term “equanimity” is used to signify a mental attitude of balance, detachment, and impartiality. To be equanimous is to observe reality as it is, without attachment or meaning. To cultivate broader awareness of the changes happening around us, the key is to remain curious, which can be achieved by resonating with love rather than fear.

Topic 3: Continuously tune into reality through multiple perspectives

Quantum physicists are finding that reality may not be singular or objective. Similarly, normality is an intersubjective construct, which is to say that it is a shared agreement of meaning among a group of people. Deviations from what is considered “normal” by some may be experienced differently by others. The important distinction to make in the context of transcending normality is that factual representations of reality are entangled with interpretations of those facts. Tuning into reality from multiple perspectives can be achieved with humble inquiry — asking questions to which we do not already know the answer and listening with an open heart. Furthermore, we must cultivate the habit of letting go of our pre-existing assumptions, thereby creating the space for new possibilities that we may not have fathomed otherwise. Finally, to tune into reality optimally, we must also tend to inner being.

Merkaba Series | Transcending "Normal" image

Erik Desrosiers

Erik partners with clients to access higher dimensions of being for themselves and their organizations. His approach to coaching is supported by over a decade working as an executive in the energy industry. Much like wind and solar power are now winning beyond all predictions, this era belongs to those with the audacity to believe that there is more to reality than meets the eye.

As a bridge between worlds, Erik alchemizes science and mysticism to shape strategies that unlock unseen possibilities and enable breakthrough results. His approach merges the practical tools he has mastered throughout his business career with powerful psychospiritual modalities such as meditation, breathwork, sound, and movement.

Both entrepreneurs and enterprise executives have found a lasting competitive advantage working with Erik. By elevating our frequency from within and tuning into the field of possibilities from a higher perspective, a single moment can reframe the past and alter the future.

Uranbileg Batjargal (Urana Heart)

Uranbileg Batjargal (Urana Heart) was born in Mongolia. It is the country of horsemen, warriors, conquers, and nomads who travel camelback, and shamans who communicate with worlds and dimensions beyond the ordinary reality. As a young person, she loved climbing barefoot on the rocky hills, gathering wild berries, conversing with small birds, and singing aloud in the open air in summer.

Uranbileg left Mongolia when she was 19 to study in Japan, where she became immersed in the contemplative arts. She graduated from the University of Tokyo with a Master’s degree in Economics and moved to the United States to pursue a career at the World Bank. Along the way, she was married—and divorced. Brokenhearted, she renewed her connection to the mystical realms through meditation and other contemplative energy practices. She completed three vision quests informed by the Native American tradition of celebrating the coming of age and starting of a new life. Those vision quests changed her life inalterably and continue to guide her work today.

Today, Uranbileg walks in two worlds. As an economist, a business officer, and a certified public accountant, she makes a living by managing budgets and performance reporting and applying data governance strategy and principles. In her other world, Uranbileg is a poet, a certified mindful meditation teacher, Reiki Master, and a practitioner of shamanic healing and sound healing. Her offerings combine an alchemy of practices that help clients remember who they are, heal themselves, and succeed in their endeavors.

Uranbileg’s healing methods alchemize and integrate her native lineage of Mongolian shamanism, 9 years of devotional practice of Bhakti yoga with Sanskrit chanting, her connections to plant medicines, and 6 years of deep apprenticeship with Nature following the native American medicine wheel, four shields, and vision fasts. Her voice is filled with rebellion against the ordinary, longing for freedom and love, coming back to the roots, and connection to nature. Uranbileg’s healing music is heart-felt, grounding, and delightfully joyful.

FAQ

What is ceremonial cacao?

Ceremonial cacao is an ancient spiritual medicine prepared from the cacao bean, the seed of the sweet fruit of the cacao tree. It is cacao in its pure, traditional form, used by ancient civilizations and cultures in ceremonies for generations.

Cacao is one of the most accessible and welcoming plant medicines that opens the heart chakra and helps us return to our original state of a loving being. Cacao helps the receiver to connect the heart and the mind, illuminates a pathway to creativity, and balances the male and female energies within the body.

As part of your registration for this series, you will receive a 1lb bag of Origen ceremonial-grade cacao ($40 value, shipping included). Origen cacao is grown with love by the Arhuaco indigenous people of the Sierra Nevada region of Colombia.

What is sound healing?

The transformative power of sound has been passed down to the present from the sages of many cultures and have inspired, comforted, healed, and empowered the lives of many. The facilitators will use a variety of instruments, including alchemy crystal bowls, and sacred mantras—short phrases packed with energy and intention—to generate powerful sound waves that promote healing, insight, creativity, and spiritual growth.
